We Are YOGA MATters

Welcome to our yoga community, where your well-being is our priority. Our mission is to provide a safe yoga practice that nurtures the body, mind, and spirit through breath-focused sequences.  The practice of yoga can help increase one's sense of self-awareness that leads to a better focus on areas of life which matter most.  We believe YOGA MATters, because we believe that YOU matter.

Welcome to YOGA MATters, where we empower you to nurture your mind and body through strength and self-care. Our classes are rooted in breath and core awareness, guiding you through vinyasas, balances, and stretches to foster healing. 

 

Students of all levels are welcome in any class as we provide modifications for all poses.  Classes are 45 minutes and mildly heated to 80F.  Admittance to class will begin 15 minutes before start time.  A towel and water bottle are recommended.

Our Class List

Basic Yoga

This is a great place to start if you are new to Yoga.  The class will explore different variations of Yoga poses to strengthen muscle, improve balance, and increase flexibility.

Vinyasa Yoga  

Vinyasa Yoga incorporates deep breathing and body awareness as you move between postures to strengthen muscle, improve balance, and increase flexibility.

Sunrise Yoga

  Start your day off right by mentally and physically getting energized for the rest of the day.

Gentle Slow Flow

 The class will flow slowly through poses and shifts between sitting and standing postures will be limited.

 

Tune-up Tuesday 

 The class will integrate several disciplines of exercise with Yoga to tune-up muscles and strengthen the heart.  Practice may incorporate weights and other tools to tone and build endurance.

Weekend Warrior Flow

For Yogis who want to go the extra mile, enjoy an energizing flow designed to deepen your stretches and strengthen your practice.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a slow practice with long holds in passive poses and deep breathing.  The focus is on physical, mental, and emotional relaxation.

Restorative Praise Yoga

This class is similar to the Restorative Yoga class with scripture readings and worship music to rejuvenate the mind and soul as you relax through the physical postures.

Barre Yoga

Incorporating elements of ballet and Yoga, this class will focus on low-impact, high-intensity movements to strengthen the body and develop flexibility.

Yoga Sculpt

Yoga sculpt will help tone up muscles and build strength through postures performed with some resistance, which at times will include weights, bands, or other props.  

Yoga Cardio

Yoga Cardio is a high intensity flow that will help build cardiovascular endurance for the heart and lungs.

Yin Yoga  

In Yin Yoga, poses will be held for extended periods, allowing time for deeper stretches in the connective tissues.  With conscious and controlled breathing, it can improve overall flexibility and range of motion.
